The Receipt Printout

The customer rents a couple of movies and the purchase is complete. When he leaves the store he will have a handful of movies and a receipt that lists the movies he rented: who bought what. In the Front Row Video store, our customer would get a small receipt from a Point of Sale (POS) printer. The paper roll is usually 2 inches wide, so the printout will not be a full page Receipt Report.

In Advanced Report Design part 1: The Receipt Printout the focus will be on creating a Query that calculates the Total for each Receipt. the Receipt will be formatted for a POS printer.

In Advanced Report Design part 2, we'll create a Subreport that lists the movies and add the Subreport to the Receipt Printout.

In Advanced Report Design part 3: The Producers, we'll look at essential business reports including Mailing Labels and Mail Merges.
