PivotChart: Add a Category

Our new PivotChart has one Column, representing 100% of the Movies. This PivotChart needs a Category to Group the data. Let's use Rating.

3. Try it: Add a Category

Go to the Chart Field List.

Select a Field: Rating.

Drag the Rating Field to the Category Drop Zone: Drop Category Fields Here.

What Do You See? The Category Drop Zone now has a Data Field: Rating. The PivotChart now has a Column for each Rating.

Alright, this looks good.

Do This, Now: Save the Form

Go to File->Save.

Enter a name: MoviesByRatingChart.

Where tblMovies is the Record Source,

Rating is the Field,

and the data is displayed as a Chart.

Keep going...
