Hello, Microsoft Word
7.
Try it: Review the Document
Go to the
Documents Folder.
Open a
File: Movies by Year.rtf
What Do
You See? The movies have been grouped by
Year: 2012, 2011, 2010.
All of the
Fields from tblMovies have been exported: Year, Movie, MovieID,
Rating, Genre, Stars and RentalID.
What Else Do You See? Like the Excel spreadsheet, this is a
simple data output. The file is in Rich Text Format. It does not
have all of the formatting that is in a Word Document.
For
example, this output looks like it is a Table with Rows and Columns.
However, if you click in the data you will see it is just Text with
spaces between Text- no Tables.
Where
Are We? The goal was to export the data into Microsoft Word so
that we could format the report. That we have done. Please
Close the Rich Text Format (rft) file. Back in Access, Close
the Report in Print Preview.
