The
definition of a Primary Key can be seen in the Field Properties at
the bottom of the Table Design window.

Try it: Review the Field Properties Field
Size: Long Integer, a whole number* for counting. New
Values: Increment Index: Yes
(No Duplicates) So, when a
record is deleted from the Table, it is deleted permanently by
design and by default in an Access database. The ID number is
deleted as well. It cannot be reassigned to another customer or
product. Keep
going...
