The Missing Step in the

Combo Box Wizard:

Select the Field to Store

Going back and resizing the key column brings up the missing step and the option to select which Field you wish to store.

 

The Combo Box Wizard default is to select the key column, Rating ID. However the tblMovies stores the Rating (G, PG, R), which is Text, and not the RatingID, which is a Number.

 

Match. Match. Match. The answers from the Combo Box have to match the data type of the Field in the Table. Text always goes with Text. Numbers always go with Numbers.
