Designing for Users

In an earlier lesson, we used the Property Sheet to edit a couple of Form Properties: Tab Order and Cycle. The Property Sheet can also control what a User can see or edit. In an earlier lesson, we also mentioned that Real Users get Real Mad when a Form does not act as expected.

Let's review the options and look for ways to make our Form more effective.

1. Try it: Review the Form

Go to All Access Objects->Forms.

If needed, open a Form: Switchboard.

What Do You See? The Switchboard Form has Record Selectors and Navigation Buttons. Since the Switchboard Form does not save any data, there is no need to use the Record Selectors or find a different Record. We can turn those features off in the Property Sheet.
