should be tested in a lab—never live on the real company network. If
your Mighty Access database doesn't work, at least it won’t keep the
customers waiting.
How should the
testing be done? There are software products that can be programmed to
run through a series of steps. These products are very accurate: the
same test can be run many times. Even without sophisticated test
software, you should thoroughly check your database. Each form needs to
be inspected for function, tab order, even spelling. Does the database
complete the task it was created to do?
