PivotTable: Groups

The last example in this lesson is Group. It is another way to edit how you display your data. Grouping is a way to Show or Hide the Rows that you select.


Before You Begin:
Select the PivotTable. The PivotTable Tools should be available.

Try it: Group the Data

Select Row 5 through Row 19. In this sample spreadsheet, this is the sales data for the Private and Corporate Sales.

Memo to Self: PivotTables already have Groups. The Groups have a plus (+) sign if the rows are hidden or a minus (-) sign if the rows are displayed.
