Lesson 7: Working with Macros

Before You Begin: Download the sample spreadsheet: Brown Bag Sales Team.xlsx.

Try This: Do the following steps
1. Open the spreadsheet: Brown Bag Sales Team.xlsx.

2. Use the Excel Backstage Options to show the Developer Ribbon.

3. Record a new Macro:

    Macro Name: GoBlue

    Store macro in: This Worksheet

4. Record the following steps:

    Select Column C (Product)

    Sort: Product

    Select Column D (Sales)

    Apply Conditional Formatting: Light Blue Data Bar

5. Stop Recording.

6. Test the Macro.

7. Add the GoBlue Macro to the Quick Access Bar.
8. Save this as a Macro-Enabled Worksheet: YOUR NAME My Macro Practice.
