Insert a Chart

People have a difficult time seeing what the numbers mean. Make it easier: let's create a chart. This example begins by using the Control key on the keyboard to select two ranges that are not connected.

 

1. Try it: Insert a Chart

Select A1 through A5. Hold your Control key on the keyboard and select D1 through D5, too.

Go to Insert->Charts->Columns.

Select the a 3D Column template.

 

 

What Do You See? Microsoft Excel will create a new Chart. When the Chart is selected, the Chart Tools should be available. Keep going...!
