5.4. Apply conditional logic in a formula (<,>,=)

Formulas ->Function Library ->Logical ->AND

Logical Functions: AND

Conditional Logic uses the following expressions: AND, OR, and NOT. The following pages will show some examples of how you can use these functions.

 

1. Try it: Create a Logical Formula

Select Cell E1 and type: Big Pay in 120

Select Cell E1 and format the label BOLD.

 

Select Cell E2.

Go to Formulas->Function Library ->Logical.

Click on AND.

What Do You See? Microsoft Excel will prompt you to fill in the Arguments.

Logical1: C2<120

Logical2: B2>5000

Memo to Self: You can add up to 255 Logical Arguments in the AND Function.
