Sometimes it is helpful to Hide the sheets that the users don't need to edit or modify. For example you might consider hiding the the sheets with the lookup tables.

 

4. Try This: Hide a Spreadsheet

Select any spreadsheet. The example on this page is the Bonus spreadsheet.

Go to Home -> Cells -> Format.

Go on Hide & Unhide-> Hide Sheet.

 

What Do You See? "Silly wabbit! Trix are for kids." You WONT see anything. The sheet is hidden.
