In an online
class, a Forum is similar to raising your hand and asking a
question. When you post a question to a Forum anyone can reply with
a suggestion or comment. Some of the answers are very creative and
useful.
Your
instructor may also post an explanation or offer additional links.
Many
instructors keep Office Hours. Chat allows you to type
questions online and get an answer immediately from your instructor
when your instructor is in the office.
