Journal Options
The
Journal may not record the Outlook items automatically. Please go to
the Backstage to find the Journal Options.

Try it: Find the Journal Options
Go to
File ->Options.
Select:
Notes and Journal.
Click on
Journal Options.
What Do
You See? You can record the Outlook items for all Contacts or
only the ones you select. You can also record the time spent on your
Office files: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word.
Select all
of the Outlook and Microsoft Office items.
Click
OK to return to the Backstage.
Click
OK, again, to return to the Journal.
