Create a New Task
A Task is
an appointment or meeting that you do again and again. A Task can be
Tracked and Assigned to someone else. This first example creates a
simple Task as we review the options.

Try it: Create a New Task
Go to
Home ->New.
Click on
New Task.
What Do
You See? A new Task will open. This Task has four Ribbons: Task,
Insert, Format Text, Review.
We will
look at the tools available on the Task Ribbon to manage,
categorize, and follow up the Tasks.
