Working with the Outline

The text boxes on the slides are dynamic. You can manipulate the text--and which text box it populates--by promoting and demoting the indentation.

3. Before You Begin: Add a new slide

Go to the Outline view.

Select Slide 6.

Place your cursor at the end of Slide 6.

Hit the Enter key on your keyboard

You should see a new, blank slide.

Type: And it is Colder Than Usual!

What do you see? The text shows up in the outline as well as the Title on the slide.

Keep going, please.
