View the Text Pane The SmartArt has two parts: the Graphic and the Text Pane. The Text Pane is the outline to the left of the SmartArt diagram. You can Show or Hide the Text Pane if you wish.   3. Try This: View the Text Pane Click on the SmartArt diagram. Go to SmartArt Tools ->Design. Go to Create Graphic. Select: Text Pane.   What Do You See? The Text Pane can be displayed or hidden.   What Else Do You See?
