Text Boxes are Shapes

A Text Box is just a Shape. You can format a Shape, color it red,  add bevel and shadow Effects, and make that the default formatting for new Shapes as well.

 

4. Try it: Set Current Text Box as Default

Select to Slide 2: From the Garden.

Go to Insert ->Illustrations->Shapes.

Select a Shape: Arrow Right.

 

And Try This: Format the Shape

Select the Shape.

Go to Drawing Tools->Format->Shape Styles.

Choose a Style: Intense Effect: Dark Red, Accent 1.

 

Go to Shape Effects->Bevel.

Choose a Bevel Effect: Circle.

 

Go to Shape Effects->Shadow.

Choose a Shadow Effect: Perspective Below.
