Table Tools -> Layout -> Rows and Columns ->Delete Rows

Delete a Row

If you select a row and delete it, will the row be deleted, or just the text?

 

1. Try This: Delete a Row

Select Row 2: Pears.

Press Delete on your keyboard.

 

What Do You See? The data was deleted, but the row is still there.

 

2. Try This Instead: Delete the Row

Select Row 2.

Go to Table Tools -> Layout.

Go to Rows & Columns.

Click on Delete -> Rows.

 

What Else Do You See? You can delete the Cells, Columns, Rows and even the entire Table.
