Indentations

A bulleted or outlined list has a special set of tab stops on the top ruler. 

 

The First Line Indent adjusts the bullet or number. In this example, the First Line Indent for 1) Apples has been increased by dragging the upper tab stop to the right.

 

The Left Indent, the bottom two tabs on the ruler, adjusts the spacing between the number and the text.
