Change the Text Direction

There is an option to change the Text Direction. What would happen if you had a picture in the same cell? Would the picture change direction (rotate) as well? Good question.

 

Before You Begin: Place your cursor in Cell A2 under the picture.

1. Try This: Add Sample Text

Please type the following:

FROM THE FARM

TO YOUR TABLE:

THAT’S FRESH!

2. Try This, Too: Change the Alignment

Go to Table Tools-> Layout-> Alignment.

Click on Text Direction.

 

What Do You See? Say, that actually worked, didn't it? The Text changes direction but the picture does not rotate.
