Master
Documents
Large documents can be difficult to compare, edit and
merge. It is easier to create each chapter or section as a separate
document, and then combine them into one Master Document. Master
Documents combine several files, or Subdocuments into
one file. Master Documents simplify the task of
getting the page numbers right for the different sections.
A Master Document can be created in the Outline View.
