Collapse the Outline View

The Master Document actually has links to the Subdocuments. You can see the links when you Collapse the outline.

 

5. Try it: Collapse the Outline View

Go to Outlining -> Master Document.

Click on: Collapse Document.

 

What Do You See? The Subdocument sections have been reduced to hyperlinks. The links shows the pathway to each Subdocument. There is a Section Break (Continuous) between each Subdocument in the Master Document.
