Popular Word Options

In addition to the Document Properties, you can customize the User Interface in Word. Here are some popular Word Options.

 

Try This: Review the Word Options

Go to File->Options.

Go to the General tab on the left side.

 

What Do You See? The General tab includes the User Interface options:

Show the Mini Toolbar.

Enable Live Preview.

 

Did You Notice? This is where you can set your User name and initials. Anything you type here will be added automatically  to the Properties for all of the new Word  documents you create.

 

Memo to Self: By default, Microsoft Word 2010 opens your email attachments in the Full Screen Reading View. You can disable this feature if you wish: just uncheck this option.
