Send Behind Text

Arranging Text and Graphics makes more sense if you know that Microsoft Word has layers. Text is always on its own layer. The background is the bottom layer. You may have many layers if you have a many graphics.

1. Try It: Select the Picture

The Picture Tools should be available.

2. Try This: Send Bend Text

Go to Picture Tools ->Format .

Go to Wrap Text -> Behind Text.

The picture should be behind the text, now. It may not be behind the other pictures. Keep going...

Memo to Self: Send to Back and Behind Text work best if the pictures, graphics and text overlap.

Picture Tools ->Format -> Wrap Text-> Behind Text
