Hello, Microsoft Excel
5.
Try it: Review the Spreadsheet
Go to the
Documents Folder.
Open a
File: Movies by Year.xls.
What Do
You See? The movies have been grouped by Year: 2012, 2011, 2010.
All of the
Fields from tblMovies have been exported: Year, Movie, MovieID,
Rating, Genre, Stars and RentalID.
What
Else Do You See? This spreadsheet does not include any formulas
or formatting-just numbers and text.
Are We
There, Yet? Yes, the goal was to get data out of Access and into
Excel. That worked. Now you can use an impressive array of Data
Tools in Excel to analyze that exported information.
When you
are ready, Close the spreadsheet and return to Microsoft Access.
