Reports and Report Design

Technically, a database designer should begin with the Reports, first. Reports printout the answers. Often, an entire database may be designed to fill in the information for a particular government report. The Front Row Video database needs to print customer reports: a receipt or statement of accounts. Our mighty Access database also has to print business reports. We'll begin with a simple report first: a list of all the movies in the Front Row Video collection.

This lesson will use the Report Wizard to create a Report based on the Movie Table. This lesson uses the sample Front Row Video database. You can continue with the database you have been programming. You can also download the sample Access database if you wish.
