What is a Macro?

Creating a Macro can be as simple as recording your mouse clicks as you go through a process in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint or Access. The steps are named and saved so that you can repeat the process again with one click.

All of the Microsoft Office 2010 programs use Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to create and edit Macros.
