Chart Layout: Axis

By definition, an Axis is the line bordering the chart that indicates the unit of measurement: money, weight, size. The y axis is usually the vertical axis and contains data. The x-axis is usually the horizontal axis and contains categories. The Axis, as well as the Axis Labels, can be modified as well.

Try it: Review the Axis Layout

Select the Chart before you begin.

Go to Chart Tools -> Layout->Axes.

Select: Primary Horizontal Axis .

 

What Do You See? There are four options for the Primary Horizontal Axis :

None

Show Left to Right Axis

Show Axis without labeling

Show Right to Left Axis

 

Select: Right to Left Axis.
