Format the Text Alignment

Align Text places the text at the top, middle or bottom of a Text Box.

Before You Begin: This example works best if you resize the Text Box a little taller so that you see the difference between Top, Middle and Bottom. The Text in this example is Horizontal, not rotated.

1. Try It: Format the Text Alignment

Select the Text Box. Use the handles to resize the Text Box a little taller.

2. Format the Text Alignment

Go to Drawing Tools -> Format.

Click on Align Text.

3. What Do You See?

The Text in the Text Box should be placed at the top, middle or bottom of the Text Box...there's no surprises here.
