Create Linked Text Boxes

Linked Text Boxes are used to connect two Text Boxes together. Say you have a lot of information in the first Text Box. If you link two Text Boxes, then the extra type from the first one will "spill into" the second Text Box.

 

Try This: Enter More Sample Text

Before you begin: Open a new, blank document and add a new, simple Text Box.

Select the Text Box.

 

Type: The tomatoes are hand picked from the vines as the dew dries in the morning sun.

 

The corn squeaks when it is shucked of its fragrant green husks.

 

The smell of Thanksgiving rises from the garden when you brush against the Mother of Thyme.

 

Try This, Too: Format the Text

Select the word: tomatoes.

Go to Home ->Font.

Can you make just one word big, bold and red and another big, bold and green? Yes. ;-)
